Rayya Suites ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and your rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Contact form submissions — name, email address, phone number, subject, property of interest, and your message, when you use our Contact page.
Search & booking-intent activity — when you search for availability or click "Check Rates," we log the property, dates, guest numbers, promo code (if any), and your IP address, for analytics and fraud-prevention purposes. No payment information is collected or stored by this Site at any point.
Technical data — standard web log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically as you browse.
Cookies — we use a small number of essential cookies for site functionality (e.g. session and security tokens) and, where enabled, Google Analytics cookies to understand site usage.

We do not collect or store credit card or other payment details. When you proceed to book, you are transferred to RMS Cloud's own booking engine, which collects your guest and payment details directly under its own privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

To respond to enquiries submitted via our contact form;
To operate, maintain, and improve this website;
To understand how visitors use the Site (via analytics), so we can improve the search and browsing experience;
To detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the Site;
To comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with:

RMS Cloud — our booking engine partner, once you choose to proceed with a booking (you interact with RMS Cloud directly for this step);
Google (Maps & Analytics) — to display property locations and understand site traffic, subject to Google's own privacy policy;
Service providers who help us run this website (e.g. hosting), under confidentiality obligations;
Where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.

4. Data Retention

We retain contact form enquiries and activity records for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law, after which they are securely deleted or anonymised.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information we hold, including restricted admin access, encrypted password storage, and secure hosting. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:
